Ceramiche Biagioli “La Mastro Giorgio” It is from the skilled hand that molds the clay and from the brush that brings nature to life with its divine force that Franceso Biagioli renewed the art of Mastro Giorgio.

The Company "La Mastro Giorgio" is to be considered among the most antique and prestigious majolica company in Umbria, even though its ownership and trademark have had various interruptions and changes during the three hundred years of activity.

The most recent history of the company started in the early years of 1900 with the trademark CAM (Artistic Pottery by Mastro Giorgio). Marsilio Biagioli (1912-1980) and Giovanni Notari were the main protagonists for the entire production of more than twenty years.

During this period the objects, which were shaped on the wheel, and the firing techniques, including the lustre technique, were renewed and refined. This type of production was significant up until the 1940s and brought about the cold glazed "fiorato Gubbio", a decoration composed of leaves and flowers on shoots and arabesques of eastern origin.

In the 1950s, the new factory was founded under the name of "La Mastro Giorgio" and became exclusively owned by the Biagioli family. The production took on Renaissance and Baroque decorations by introducing blue, copper-flake green and black backgrounds.
The commercial network began to spread over the domestic market and as well as the foreign market.
