Now, in opening this new chapter in my field, I am attempting to direct my production towards objects that have an added value than just the classic lines that is usually asked of in a piece. The uniqueness of each of my creations is derived from the ties between the history and tradition in Gubbio and from the research of other objects, even those of common use, that becomes only more precious with the addition of gold and gems.
An activity that began twenty five years ago
Production is aimed at three precise areas:
1) Umbrian gold – objects which are inspired by the jewels of our ancestors. It is modern jewellery that carries forward decorative motifs of the Etruscans and/or the typical workmanship used during that time period.
2) Precious art – when a jewel wants to tell a story, a moment…or when just a few grams of gold can express a feeling…
3) Precious accessories- since antiquity men and women have wanted to ornate their bodies with objects that would glorify their being; not only with jewellery, in the straight sense of the term, but often with common accessories that would aquire, with the addition of precious materials, a value and a different meaning.
